hopefully it's working.Īfterwards, use this guys guide exactly and then use his LUT file 'NoClipButStronger_recommended'. Right click 'LGJoyHid.inf' and select installĭo the same for 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid\WinUSB\LGJoyWinUsb.inf' Then Go into 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid' Mark the checkbox to remove the driver too. After it's back up, again go to device manager and uninstall device on both the G920 and the G920 (HID). Use this version of LGS \_9.02.65\_圆4\_Logitech.exeĪfter installing, restart the PC and keep the wheel unplugged. Uninstall GHub because it's trash and install LGS instead. It should be under human interface devices. Mark the checkbox to remove the driver if shown. Go to device manager and uninstall device on both the G920 and the G920 (HID). Okay i finally managed to fix this problem by following this comment by u/BabaGurGur on a different thread: Is there anything i can try and to make my wheel actually usable on PC again? i honestly use my G29 much more on PC than on PS4 so this is a really annoying matter for me. I just tested my G29 on my PS4 with GT Sport so i know for certain it STILL works absolutely fine. The centering spring strength is not only annoying as hell, it is also pretty hard to turn the wheel like that, and that's before i even mentioned the lack of any sort of vibration feedback. This is beyond frustrating to say the least, basically nearly nothing is playable like that. Then i completely wiped LGS 9.04.49 in the same way i stated above and tried to install an older version of GHUB which many people online appear to say "fixed" this problem for them (203)īut again this changed absolutely nothing and i STILL don't have force feedback. I've tried uninstalling GHUB and deleting all of its registry logs and all of the residue Logitech files in the AppData folder and also completely wiped all of the Logitech drivers from my computer and tried to reinstall LGS 9.02.65 again but now my G29 isn't even detected in LGS anymore, then i downloaded LGS 9.04.49 from Logitech's website (i didn't know this version even existed) and it does detect my G29 however the wheel is STILL suck in centering spring mode no matter what. Now my G29's force feedback no longer works and it is basically stuck in the centering spring mode regardless of what i try to configure it. Today however i got a Blue Yeti microphone and that forced me to install GHUB which basically completely screwed me over. and the mouse isn't the greatest to have to go through all these hoops.Īlternatively, any recommendations for a replacement mouse similar to this? I have the G602 and looking for a modern replacement with similar programable buttons.I've been using my G29 with LGS since 2016 until today, that's 6 years of my G29 working FLAWLESSLY. Of course, the OMM software still doesn't recognize those buttons as being programmed - but it works. I tried programming the up and down arrows - since that's what works with the keyboard, but it does nothing.ĭoes anyone have any suggestions (other than install the G-HUB software) or know a place out there that has more information on this? FWIW, the only solution I was able to find was to install the software, configure the buttons, save the profiles to the 1 of 5 memory slots on the mouse, then uninstall the software. If you try to re-program the actual wheel buttons for up and down (buttons 6 and 8), the only option is a keyboard combo option. If you re-program those 2 buttons, the mouse wheel no longer scrolls up or down. Using the OMM software, the defaults for Buttons 14 and 15 (one of the 6 by the thumb) are Scroll up and Scroll down. There is no online manual and when you contact support - they just say - they only support the G-HUB software.įor example, I just got the G604 and it has "15" programmable buttons (4 of which are related to the scroll wheel directions). Has anyone gotten this software to work as one would expect? Folks keep saying that this software allows you to program the buttons without the need for installing the G-HUB software, but there doesn't appear to be any details available.
